ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Don Martin always enjoyed music, audio, and electronics, so he spent a great deal of his time in Nashville, TN working with recording studios and radio stations during and just after his Vanderbilt University days. But the years from 1970 until 1985 found him marketing and servicing fine German, British, and Italian sports cars. Since 1985, he has spent more than 30 years marketing fine homes with his own real estate company. He has taught marketing, sales, and contract writing, and is also currently involved with writing and speaking.
He operates Martin Properties as a “Graduated Real Estate Services” company helping people at varying levels to sell their home. He maintains a listing mega-inventory of between 50 and 100 homes at any given time, and works with a very limited number of buyers. He has now expanded his company from Nashville to Knoxville, Memphis, and Chattanooga, becoming a state-wide resource for independent home-sellers.
